It was back in the late 1970's when Professional Hockey started for "The Great One", the greatest player to ever put on skates. Wayne spent a short time in the WHA with The Indianapolis Racers before the deal that brought him back to Canada with the Edmonton Oilers. The Oilers would go on to become a dynasty under Wayne's skill and leadership. Upper Deck, in the 1990's, did both a Blue and White Limited Edition commemmorating Wayne's first professional hockey experience with The Indy Racers. The Blue Edition has 150 jerseys, and has become quite difficult to find. The White Edition has 250 jerseys and has also become scarce.
