No paypal or personal checks. Available in this auction is a game used game worn Paul O'Neill New York Yankees 2000 World Series jersey. This jersey is a perfect example of an O'Neill game worn jersey in every way. It has perfect tagging with his usual extra-length customizations, shows great game use, and comes from an impeccible source --- Steiner Sports, which directly represents the Yankees and markets their game used items. Paul, known as the Ultimate Warrior due to his intensity, is one of the most popular players in Yankees history. If you are going to spend a lot of money on one of his game used jerseys, do the smart thing and get a rock solid one like this one. The best part about this jersey to me is that it shows a lot of game use, meaning it was ALSO worn a good bit in the 2000 regular season. Don't buy one with no use and wonder if it was ever worn, that is a waste of money, and how can you enjoy that when you aren't sure it was worn? Here's one you can be sure Paul wore -  a lot. Jersey is a grey road Russell knit, size 48 (Paul's preferred size throughout his career in New York), with all the extra tags and customizations an O'Neill jersey should have, including 1-inch extra sleeve length, 1-inch extra body length, plus the usual 100 percent polyester tag found on Russell game worn jerseys. It also has the Yankees year tag 'YO' for the 2000 season. The 'YO' stands for 'year 2000'. All the tags are curled, puckered, faded, and heavily frayed from the jersey being worn by Paul and washed a lot by the team. The 'YO' tag is wrinkled and pulling loose from the thread on the bottom right edge only (see photo below). Jersey has the 2000 World Series patch on the right sleeve and a black armband on the left sleeve in honor of former Yankees manager Bob Lemon, who died before the 2000 season started. 2000 was a memorable and highly collectible season in Yankees history, the last World Championship and the year the Yanks beat the crosstown rival Mets in the Subway Series. That was the series that had the confrontation between Mike Piazza and Roger Clemens too, by the way. I bought this jersey directly from Steiner Sports, which means it came directly from the Yankees equipment room, as Steiner has a contract with the Yankees to sell their game used items. Jersey comes with a Steiner LOA. Jersey also originally had a small Steiner hologram added to the Russell tag, but since Paul never wore it that way, I removed the hologram BUT I DID save it and have attached it to a small piece of cellophane and you will get that too (see photo below). I also will include the packing slip from Steiner, which also specifically names this jersey. Check out how it says it came from the 'YANKEECAGE'. Doesn't get any better than that. I will black my name out on this simply for privacy reasons. I have also pictured my invoice below but that is not included as it has financial information, including the price I paid, which is significantly more than I am offering it to you now. I only am showing it below to help you see clear evidence that it came from  Steiner. Other photos below include the inside of the World Series patch, showing there was never a Russell R logo on the right sleeve. This is important and correct as the Yankees always ordered their jerseys without the R. The Boss doesn't allow logos/advertising on Yankees jerseys. Another photo below points out features of this jersey that appear to match photos of Paul wearing a jersey exactly like this one in 2000. I have also included several photos of Paul from 2000, from the regular season and World Series. I am NOT saying these are firm photo matches because there is nothing easily distinguishable like a large loose thread to match, but I AM suggesting that all the photos below match my jersey exactly with respect to the location of lettering, buttons, numbers, seam locations etc. Some people might call the photos below photo matches but I don't think you can go that far without having some unqiue feature to match, such as thread or a mark etc. Check out the photos for yourself, look at the relation between the buttons and the horizontal seam, and the locations of the letters in 'New York' and decide for yourself. Also notice the way the middle of the W in 'New' is wider at the top and matches photos of Paul. Make sure you click on the larger version of each photo below to see things better. I have also added some notations to some photos, pointing out some key features. Obviously this jersey is very expensive but I am still offering it for less than I paid, and I think it is worth a good bit due to the solid game use and the fact that it came directly from Yankees/Steiner. I hate to lose it, as I am an O'Neill collector/fan myself, and I am only offering it for financial reasons. I'm always looking for O'Neill game used bats, by the way. Payment info: Bidding is accepted only from continental U.S. bidders, age 18 and over only. Add $36.00 to winning bid for shipping and insurance. Please note, due to the value of this jersey, that it will not be shipped until payment clears. Cashiers check or money orders are required.
