Olympiade Berlin 1936. This rare Olympics book is boldly signed 2 times on seperate pages by the great Jesse Owens. The first reads: My Sincere Greetings, Jesse Owens, and the other reads: My Sincere Greeting, Jesse Owens 1952. The publisher is Berlin, and it is from 1936, and is a first edition. There are 40 pages, with printing & photos on one side of each page. There are 20 pages of photographs of Berlin & Olympic structures, 2 sheets of facsimile autographs glued on 2 blank pages, a cloth cover, and a metal onlay of the 1936 Olympic bell on the front cover (see photo). Condition of the book is very good & complete with light user wear. The cover has a plastic protective book cover that wraps around to the inside, and has a few pieces of tape holding it in place. All pages are held together by a spiral spine. There is a 1 1/4" split along the perforation holes between the cover page and the spiral along the bottom. This is a nice piece of Oympic history to add to your collection, especially in this great autographed condition!
