Having spoken with Anthony Hamilton at Montreal, 2007, he informed me that there was no other raced suit by Lewis available, that this suit was the only one in private hands, and that it was for his own collection.  Anthony Hamilton donated this - his own suit - to the Senna Foundation. For discerning Formula 1 collectors to consider:  The ratio of Michael Schumacher to Kimi Raikkonen suits made available during the 2003 season is about 20 to 1.  Why?  Schumi's suits were owned by him to do with as he pleased.  Also, Schumi had a minimum of THREE suits worn per weekend so they could go to market for a higher average price per suit.  Direct buyers were rarely promised that the particular suit of a weekend - 1, 2, or 3 as numbered under the belt - was the Sunday race suit.  The policy was by design so the suits sold for a tighter range and, on average, sold for more.  Very few were ever documented as "Sunday suits" and those without proper documentation may have been from the weekend, but not Sunday suits as may have been advertised. However, McLaren's driver race suits have to date been contractually owned by Ron Dennis, not the driver.  This is also McLaren's policy for driver's trophies (the drivers have always gotten copies, with a Senna exception). There are very few Kimi Raikkonen McLaren suits for that reason.  Lewis is certainly not allowed to keep most of his race suits from this 2007 rookie season.  Ron and sponsors own the majority.  This was Anthony Hamilton's suit, worn by his son.  A big caveat: McLaren's legal department is looking thoroughly for stolen Lewis Hamilton suits.  Any not offered by Lewis or Anthony Hamilton directly are not legal for sale.  Buying any such item makes you complicit in a crime, and you'd never be able to resell the item, so why risk it? (That goes for all illegally obtained F1 items not cleared by the team or driver directly.) In summary, there are at least 600 Ferrari Schumacher overalls out there.  This is the only legitimate original pair of Lewis Hamilton overalls available anywhere, and that "will remain the case for the foreseeable future." Our asking price is not at all unreasonable when considering the popularity of the driver, the relative rarity of this item and your ability to resell it without worry should you want or need to.  Take into consideration that any future suits, if and when available, must be acquired in Pounds Sterling.
