Fangio won five Formula One World Driver’s Championships with four different teams (Mercedes-Benz, Ferrari, Alfa Romeo and Maserati), and is still considered by many the greatest driver of all time. The book is signed, inscribed and dated (15/09/1961) with fountain pen ink by Juan Manual Fangio. According to the information given at the end of the book, this book was printed on July 30, 1961, so it was signed by Fangio soon after its publication. The book has 275 pages and measures approx. 6 X 8¾ inches and was published by Aldo Palazzi Editore in Italy.             Condition of the book: The hardcover has some water staining on top and bottom, 2 bug holes on the front, and some bug holes on the internal parts and on the upper and lower left corners of the back cover. The spine is in very good condition, except for some water staining on top and bottom. The internal written pages and pictures are in very good condition. The colorful dust cover has many tears and missing pieces of paper.       Please note: I am not an autograph expert and no autograph COA is available for this item. All I can say in that this book has a known provenance. It came from a traditional Italian family settled in Brazil.
