As Joe got older, it was harder for him to keep up with life and fame that was demanded by a Baseball legend like Joe DiMaggio. Not only did the game take a huge toll on his body but so did the life he had to live up to after baseball. This page for sale is from the day of  Jan. 14, 1991 in which Joe writes about or mentions how he got up at 5:00 a.m. got his stuff packed and together to catch a plane. He then got to the airport had some breakfast and then headed on American Airlines flight 64 to New York where he had a fund raiser to attend about his famous hit streak. Later in the page he qoutes how crazy everything got because of the hit streak and if he would have known this he would have stoppd the streak early !!! Later he goes on to say that he took a plane home and went out for dinner. And at the bottom of the page he wrote what he spent in money that day.
