Description
YOU ARE BIDDING ON: AUTHENTIC VINTAGE ON-SITE BOXING PROGRAM FROM THE 1926 WORLD'S CHAMPIONSHIP BOUT BETWEEN GENE TUNNEY & JACK DEMPSEY This program was actually purchased by my grandfather who attended the fight with two friends from New York.  The card took place in a downpour, so the majority of programs from this bout were destroyed before they ever left the stadium.  The program is 32 pages long. I have added photos of a sampling of interesting pages. There are a couple other programs from this fight available from auction houses, but they were not on-site programs.  They were defective programs that were not properly cut during production, leaving all the pages joined at the top or the bottom. I guarantee the authenticity of this item and will give a full money-back guarantee.  I have fond memories of discussing this program with my grandfather back in the 1960's before be passed away. I have had it in my possession since 1968. Since the off-site defective programs are being listed at $1750, I know that this program is worth substantially more.  In the spirit of allowing someone to possible get this item for a great price, I am setting the initial bid at 40% below market value.  Good luck and good bidding!  Please feel free to email me with any questions you may have.  Shipping is free!
