Despite the grade still a RARE card with great color and being SGC graded ensures you of an authentic untampered card. Downgraded do to creasing, chip from top border and ink markings on back. Still the card itself has great visual appeal for a fraction of the $7000+ for an graded EX. A welcome addition to any collection. *************************GO TO TOP************************* BABE RUTH1917 Youth's CompanionSGC 40SCARCE ~~~~ Item Description ~~~~ RARE - Babe RUTH - 1917 Youth's Companion - SGC 40. Graded by SportsCard Guaranty (SGC), whom many collectors consider the most respected grader of vintage cards, ensuring you of a genuine unaltered card. Issued as part of a promotional set by a Boston company to promote the children's magazine Youth's Companion. This stamp featured a rare color litho of Babe Ruth in his Boston Red Sox uniform pitching. Pictures of Ruth pitching and\or in a Red Sox uniform are extremely rare. This item is one of earliest and is greatly undervalued when compared to his others from this year or earlier that can sell for several thousands in the lowest grades. Stamp looks much nicer than it's technical grade and was downgraded severly due to a small amout of foreign substance that became affixed to the glue on the back of the stamp. Only three of these have ever been graded and is rarer than most of his earlier issues which cost thousands more. *************************GO TO TOP************************* Honus Wagner1908 E102 "Set of 25"SGC - Authentic ~~~~ Item Description ~~~~ Scarce Honus Wagner - 1908 E102 Set of 25 - Batting. Authenicated by SGC, evidently not graded due to missing corner, however it displays nicer than many 10's and some 20's. Card has pose of Wagner batting. Card is technically low grade due to missing corner, light crease and pencil marks on back. Still ranks as one of Wagner's earliest cards a year before his famous T206. Despite the flaws card still displays nicely. A welcome addition to most vintage card collections. A nice investment cards as EARLY Wagner card continue to become more scarce. *************************GO TO TOP************************* BABE RUTH1922 W575-2"Autograph on Shoulder"PSA 2 (MK) ~~~~ Item Description ~~~~ Babe Ruth 1922 W575-2 "Autograph on Shoulder" graded PSA 2 (MK). Very Scarce early Ruth regional issue from Kromo Gravue Photo Co in Detroit MI. This issue is often referred to as the "Autograph on Shoulder" issue due to the facsimilie autograph on Ruth's shoulder. Early Ruth cards are one of the HOTTEST INVESTMENT items in the hobby, this is one of his earliest being pictured in a Yankee uniform. Card appears much nicer than technical grade. Pencil and ink writing on blank reverse and small tear on the upper right border dropped this to a PSA 2 and was the reason for the "MK" qualifier. This rare card still displays nicely. This EARLY Ruth would make a great investment/addition to any Ruth collection. *************************GO TO TOP************************* LOU GEHRIG1926-29 Exhibit ~ SGC 30Unused Postcard BackRARE Early Gehrig!! ~~~~ Item Description ~~~~ Lou Gehrig - 1926 Postcard-backed Exhibit SGC 30. One of Lou's earliest issues making it one of his most-sought after cards, issued nearly 7 years before his Goudey which in a comparable grade would sell in the $1000 range. This issue is greatly undervalued considering it's scarcity, over 300 of Lou's Goudey issues have been graded yet only 6 of these!!!! Card is graded by the leading grader of vintage cards SGC a 30 / PSA 2. Card was severly downgraded due to some light staining on edges and reverse. Guaranteed authentic and unaltered. Fantastic addition to any Yankees or vintage card collection. Seldom seen in any condition, Don't miss out!!!! *************************GO TO TOP************************* TY COBB1911 Pinkerton ScorecardSGC 10 ~~~~ Item Description ~~~~ Ty COBB - 1911 Pinkerton Scorecard graded SGC 10. This rare card is very thin and measures 3-3/8" x 5-7/16". Card is scorecard on reverse and is same photograph as the 1911 T5 Pinkerton Cabinets. Card looks nicer than technical grade, card has some light creasing but was severly downgraded due to some paper loss on reverse from removal from scrap book. Card back was originally a scorecard. Graded by Sportscard Guaranty (SGC) the leading vintage card grading company, thus ensuring you of a genuine unaltered card. *************************GO TO TOP************************* Honus Wagner1947 Tip Top BreadSCARCE Regional IssueSGC 70 / PSA 5.5 EX+ ~~~~ Item Description ~~~~ Scarce regional issue 1947 Tip Top Bread card of Honus Wagner as Pittsburgh Pirates coach graded by SportsCard Guaranty SGC 70. This is the highest graded example of this issue by SGC. SGC is the leading grader of vintage cards ensuring you of a genuine unaltered card. Cards were issued regionally in loaves of Tip Top bread. It is RARE to find individual cards and next to impossible to find a star like the Flying Dutchman. The Honus Wagner is the second most valuable card in this set and is also one of Wagner's scarcest cards. Card is outstanding example which might possibly be cross-graded higher by PSA. Still a very presentable Wagner from an extremely scarce set. The scarcity of this 163 card set is reflected in it's $16,000 price tag in ungraded NM condition and by the fact that the leading grader of vintage cards SGC has only graded this one Wagner from this set and has only graded overall 31 cards from the 163 card set. THIS IS A TOUGH WAGNER TO FIND and would make a GREAT INVESTMENT!! Don't miss this great opportunity to add a SCARCE vintage HONUS WAGNER to your collection. *************************GO TO TOP************************* ~~~~ Ebay Links ~~~~ VISIT OUR * BABE RUTH GALLERY *.
