This press pin comes from the son of a fine sportswriter who covered the 1949 World Series as a career sportswriter. He wrote about baseball for many national magazines and the Des Moines Register. The pin is in very good condition. There is some evidence of wear but it about as close to pristine as the real thing can be. The back of the pin reads "Dieges & Clust."
